Here's what folks are saying about our services...
Rocky and Ringo's mom wrote... "When we lost our beloved pet rabbits, Rocky and Ringo, only hours apart on 11/3/07, we were truly heartbroken. Thankfully, my husband found the website for "Cherished Pets" and Jo came to our home and instantly put us at ease with her calm demeanor and caring nature. She was so loving towards our bunnies and helped us greatly through this very difficult and sad time. We decided to have our bunnies cremated together and Jo arranged for everything and returned our bunnies cremains to us within a few days. She made special remembrances of them which we will cherish forever and helped us purchase a beautiful bunny urn. We are so happy that we found someone special like Jo to be there for us. She was truly our guardian angel."

Henry's family wrote... "We cannot thank you enough for the great care that you provided for Henry. Through this very difficult time it put us at ease to know of each detail of Henry's journey back to us. Thank you for the time that you spent listening and allowing us to remember Henry. It is so great to know that there is someone special like you who wants to ensure the very best care for a pet at the time of their death. We will never forget your support, care and professionalism."

Buster's mom wrote... "My cherished pet, Buster Brown was a cocker-spaniel that I had since he was six weeks old. He started to lose his quality of life due to many illnesses and my vet told me that I should prepare myself for his end-of-life by calling Jo Ann Davis at "Cherished Pets."I spoke with Jo Ann and she was always ready to help me through this difficult time. When I decided to euthanize Buster, I contacted Jo Ann and she picked up Buster form the vet office and took him personally in her car to the crematory. When she came to my home to return Buster to me, she also gave me a lock of his fur in a silk bag with a rosebud, a clay paw print, and a pet angel pin. She sat with me quite awhile to console me and spoke to me about the grieving process. To this day I still have contact with Jo Ann via phone or e-mail and she is still there for me whenever I need her. I don't know how I could have made it without Jo Ann's help."

Ruffy's mom wrote... "I had Ruffy for 16 years when he became ill with cancer. When nothing else could be done, I found Jo Ann. She got me through one of the worst times of my life. I have memories and mementos that I would never have had without her. We call each other every few months for our "cat talks." Her support is beyond words."

Cleo's family wrote... "Jo Ann of Cherished Pets came into our lives last February when we lost our beloved dog Cleo. We found her to be one of the most caring and genuine people we had ever met. She spent several hours with us listening to our stories and sharing some of her own about her beloved cat Lovey that she lost. We believe that she truly felt our loss and understood exactly what we were going through. She made this most difficult time easier for all of us."

Chris and Jonnie's mom wrote... "I would like to share with every pet parent my experience with a wonderful woman named Jo Ann who owns a business called Cherished Pets. A few months ago I had to make the difficult decision to put my beautiful male cat Chris to sleep. My veterinarian told me about Jo Ann and she was waiting after the euthanasia to handle all of the transportation and cremation arrangements for Chris. She was in constant contact with me and returned him to me; and within 2 weeks time, I had to relive it all over again for my other male cat Jonnie. Once again, Jo Ann was there for me. She came to my home and arranged for everything we needed for Jonnie. A week later she came and visited us and talked about the grieving process in a most compassionate way. I consider Jo Ann my "guardian angel." I couldn't have gotten through this ordeal without her love and support. It was a privilege to have made her acquaintance. Even after months have gone by, she still calls me to check in on me and see how I am doing. People say that it is only an animal, but I say it's a precious life. And this experience, with Jo Ann by my side, will give me memories that will last forever."

Marcus' mom and dad wrote... "We cannot thank you enough for your support. When we had to put Marcus down, you made the whole experience so much easier. Having you at the house when we euthanized him, and then transporting him in your car to the crematory for a private cremation was so comforting. You treated Marcus with the dignity and respect that he truly deserved. You truly are an angel for your human clients and their pets. We are so grateful for your support, kindness, and assistance."

Delilah's mom wrote... "Losing a pet is never easy, let alone having to make the decision to put your loved one to rest. In the past 2 years I have had to do this twice, and both times were the most heartbreaking experiences of my life. Having Jo Ann's help for the second euthanasia and cremation certainly helped me tremendously. I had no idea what to expect when I agreed to have Jo Ann take Delilah from the vet. But she was exactly what I needed after being so distraught with the decision to put Delilah to rest. Jo Ann's word of support and her personal visit made the process so much easier to endure. Unfortunately, having our pets leave us is a fact of life. But having Jo Ann of Cherished Pets available, makes a difficult time much more manageable. Thank you Jo Ann!"

Cerveza's mom and dad wrote... "Thank you so much for everything that you have done for us and Cerveza and for being there for us in our time of need. We appreciate all of the advice and support you gave; you truly went beyond any expectations that we might have had. It is wonderful that you could provide us with peace of mind that Cerveza was in good hands with you after he was separated from us. We think you are an amazing person to help pet owners with the details and decisions they might not be able to deal with on their own, while always being available to talk, give caring advice, and sometimes just listening to us. It is comforting knowing that you really understand all that we are feeling. Thank again for everything."
